The owner of a ticket that matched all but one number to win more than $424,000 in the Powerball drawing on Jan. 2 has come forward to claim his prize.

Francesco Penna bought the winning ticket at the 7-Eleven store at 1611 W. Olive Ave. in Burbank. He matched the numbers 42, 15, 6, 5 and 29, missing only the Powerball number 10.

The drawing had more than 204,213 winning tickets, but Penna was the winner of the largest prize. No one took home the $334 million jackpot, which snowballed to the largest-ever Powerball prize of more than $1.5 billion over the next week.
