The city of Costa Mesa temporarily closed the Bark Park on Arlington Drive on Monday morning because of high winds that downed some trees at the dog park.

The park reopened Tuesday afternoon after city staff cleaned up the fallen trees and branches, the city said.

The National Weather Service reported winds in the Costa Mesa area of 18 to 30 mph Monday.

The area also experienced high winds during a rainstorm Sunday.
