Laguna woman suspected of trying to steal car
Laguna Beach police arrested a woman on suspicion of felony vehicle theft Friday night after the car hit a parked car in the 500 block of Cress Street.
According to police, Laguna Beach resident Keila Gamraoui, 31, entered an unlocked 1994 Saab at 10:32 p.m., released the emergency brake and tried to start the car using the key to her own car.
The car rolled forward and hit an unoccupied parked car near the intersection of Cress and Carmelita streets, Sgt. Tim Kleiser wrote in an email. No one was injured.
