The Butchery — a full-service butcher shop known for artisan cheeses, made-to-order sandwiches, craft beers and wines — recently opened a new location in Newport Coast.

The store, The Butchery’s third in Orange County, is at the Crystal Cove Shopping Center at 8058 E. Coast Hwy.

Brodard Vietnamese restaurant coming to Fountain Valley

Brodard, a popular Vietnamese restaurant, is building a new location in Fountain Valley on the former site of a Burger King at Edinger Avenue and Brookhurst Street.

The 8,000-square-foot restaurant will relocate the original Brodard at the Mall of Fortune in Garden Grove, the Orange County Register reported.

The Fountain Valley location is expected to open in late 2017.

Ecliptek names new business manager

Costa Mesa-based Ecliptek Corp., a manufacturer of crystal and oscillator products, has named Sheila Hoagland as its new business development manager, according to a news release.

Hoagland has more than 20 years’ experience in the electronics industry.

1Heart moves to Newport Beach

1Heart Caregiver Services of Orange County, a senior care services company, recently moved to a new location in Newport Beach.

The Los Angeles-based company now has operations at 3700 Campus Drive, Suite 201.

The office serves Newport Beach, Laguna Beach, Dana Point, Laguna Niguel, Aliso Viejo, Laguna Hills, Laguna Woods, Lake Forest and Mission Viejo.
