Hundreds of children teetered and waddled into the MOMS Orange County Baby Olympics on Sunday during the 13th annual Orange County Children’s Book Festival.

The Santa Ana-based nonprofit hosted the all-day event, held at Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa, to encourage families to be active and healthy with their youngsters, especially during National Childhood Obesity Awareness Month.

The free event featured Olympic-themed activities, contests, prizes and book readings by Olympic athletes.
