Sage Hill 56, Oxford Academy 45

Chance Kuehnel scored 14 points to lead the Lightning in their Academy League game at home on Tuesday.

Greg Park and Alfonso Corona scored 12 points each for Sage Hill (8-4, 1-0 in league).

Estancia 61, Los Amigos 53

Evan Pettingill scored 16 points to lead the Eagles in the nonleague game on Tuesday.

Alama Kailey added 13 points for Estancia (9-7)

Ocean View 69, Costa Mesa 65

Senior guard Calvin Ko scored 19 points for the Mustangs in the nonleague game on Tuesday.

Senior Guard Chris Calderon had 11 points and freshman guard Nico Dasca added eight points for Costa Mesa (7-9).

Costa Mesa plays at Calvary Chapel to open Orange Coast League play on Friday at 7 p.m.

GIRLS’ SOCCER

Sage Hill 2, Oxford Academy 1

CYPRESS — Lexi Magliarditi scored for the Lightning in the Academy League opener Tuesday on the road.

Magliarditi’s sister, Taylor, assisted her goal. The other goal for Sage Hill came on an own goal.

Sarah Lowey had three saves for Sage Hill (4-3-2, 1-0 in league), and Kayla Gratzer had four.

The Lightning play at rival St. Margaret’s on Friday at 6 p.m.

Estancia 2, Los Amigos 1

Lauren Kaucher and Daniela Serpa both scored goals off of rebounds for the Eagles in the nonleague game at Jim Scott Stadium on Tuesday.

Elizabeth Esquivel and Samantha Haynes both had standout games on defense for Estancia (6-4-2), which plays host to Saddleback to open Orange Coast League play on Thursday at 5 p.m.

GIRLS’ BASKETBALL

Estancia 49, Segerstrom 46

SANTA ANA — Maya Van Den Heever had 23 points for the Eagles in Tuesday’s nonleague game on the road.

Finley Garnett had 11 points, and Nefertiti Van Den Heever added six points, 13 rebounds and six assists.

Delani Guyot scored eight for Estancia (9-6), which plays at Saddleback in its Orange Coast League opener on Thursday.

Oxford Academy 63, Sage Hill 56

Kenna Knollenberg scored 22 points for the Lightning in their Academy League opener at home on Tuesday.

Kate Knollenberg added 13 points for Sage Hill (6-5, 0-1 in league).
