SAN JOSE — Corona del Mar lost to host Bellarmine Prep in overtime, 9-7, in a tournament quarterfinal on Friday.

Mitchell Cooper scored six goals for CdM. Will Klein scored with six seconds left to force overtime, and Matt Moran-Flores made 11 saves.

CdM also beat Buchanan, 11-6, in the first round. Klein and Will Rodosky each scored three goals, and TJ Morton scored twice.

CdM played Friday without senior center and co-captain Tamir Avital.

CdM will play Coronado in a fifth-place semifinal Saturday at Bellarmine Prep.

ATHERTON — Newport Harbor lost to Foothill, 10-7, in a tournament quarterfinal Friday night at Menlo Atherton High.

The Sailors also beat San Ramon Valley, 10-8, in the opening round. Newport Harbor will play Drake in a fifth-place semifinal Saturday at Bellarmine Prep.
