Women’s Volleyball: OCC trio honored

Orange Coast College sophomore Danyelle Brown was named first-team All-Orange Empire Conference in women’s volleyball.

Sophomore opposite Kaitlynn Biard and freshman setter Measha Lindstrand represent OCC on the second team.

Brown, a second-team all-conference honoree in 2014, led the Pirates (13-10, 5-9 in conference) with 330 kills and 28 aces. Her 417 digs ranked second on the team.

Biard had 143 kills, 146 digs and 14 aces, while Lindstrand posted 809 assists, 214 digs, 33 kills and 19 aces.
