The AYSO Region 57 Corona del Mar girls’ 13U extra team won the top flight in Section 11 for the third consecutive fall season with a record of 5-0-1.

The Storm took on teams from Long Beach, Tustin, Mission Viejo, Lakewood, West Garden Grove and Pico Rivera. Out of 23 teams in the three 13U Section 11 flights, the Storm this fall was the only team without a loss, had the least goals against (two), the second most goals scored for (21) and the second-best goal differential.

Given its regular-season results, CdM advanced to the Section 11 Champions Cup tournament (for the third consecutive year) in Tustin, along with seven other top teams.
