The host Pirates earned a 28-26, 25-17, 25-13 sweep in the Orange Empire Conference match Wednesday.

Jordan Hoppe had 14 kills and Justin Kam added nine for the Pirates (12-1, 2-0 in conference).

Fullerton is 10-5, 2-1.

Cypress 8, Orange Coast 0

CYPRESS – Briana Covarrubias had the lone hit for the visiting Pirates in the Orange Empire Conference game limited to five innings by the mercy rule on Wednesday.

OCC is 5-16, 3-8 in conference.

Cypress is 21-0, 10-0.
