Collin Pipkin scored 15 points for the Sailors in the CdM Beach Bash Tournament on Wednesday night.

Dane Chalmers had 10 points and seven rebounds for Newport Harbor (4-3), which will play Brea Olinda on Friday in the tournament semifinals.

Estancia 49, Century 46

SANTA ANA — Cameron Jones had 19 points for the Eagles in Wednesday’s nonleague game on the road.

Evan Pettingill had eight points for Estancia (3-2), while Kyle Fitzgerald scored seven.

Estancia plays host to Brethren Christian on Dec. 15 and is offering free admission for the “Pack the gym” night.

GIRLS’ BASKETBALL

Esperanza 52, Sage Hill 32

ORANGE — Heather Park had 11 points for the Lightning in their first pool-play game at the Orange Classic tournament on Wednesday.

Joyce Jogwe added six points for Sage Hill (1-4), which continues tournament action against Estancia on Thursday at 3 p.m.

GIRLS’ SOCCER

Pacifica Christian 4, Connelly 0

Junior Isabell Hadley and freshman Brooklyn Motske both scored twice for the Tritons in Tuesday’s nonleague game.

Sophomore Sadie Hill had two assists, and sophomore Maddie Alaluf also added an assist.

Pacifica Christian improved to 3-0.

Newport Harbor 17, Long Beach Wilson 2

LONG BEACH — Sarah Barker scored five goals for the Sailors in Tuesday’s nonleague road game.

Lissa Westerman had three goals and two assists for Newport Harbor (2-0), which plays host to Foothill in a key game on Friday.

Estancia 17, Paramount 4

Katelyn Chesemore scored five goals for the Eagles in Wednesday’s nonleague game.

Julia Paluch had four goals, while Hayley Hopp scored three. Izzy Morales and Zora McPhail had two goals each, while Kenzi Lambert also scored.

Estancia is 2-1.
