Two Anteaters lauded

UC Irvine sophomore Harlee Kekauoha and senior Victoria Dennis have been named first-team All-Big West Conference in women’s volleyball.

Kekauoha, a 6-foot opposite, is a repeat first-team honoree. She had a conference-leading 51 aces, the third-best single-season mark in UCI history, and her 2.54 kills per set ranked second among Anteaters.

Kekauoha averaged 2.25 digs and 0.53 blocks per set and was one of nine players in the country to record three triple-doubles this season.

Dennis, a 6-3 outside hitter, led the team with 3.55 kills per set, which ranked sixth in the conference. She had a career-high 31 kills against San Diego State.
