Two teenagers were arrested on suspicion of committing four burglaries early Tuesday in Costa Mesa, authorities said.

Police responded to a report of a burglary at 2:10 a.m. at Al’s Palace Chinese restaurant at 270 Bristol St., Costa Mesa police Lt. Victor Bakkila said.

A witness told police that two people had broken a window to enter the property and then fled south on Bristol in a Lexus sedan, Bakkila said.

Police responded to an alarm at another business at 355 Bristol St. at 2:16 a.m. and found that the front window had been shattered, Bakkila said.

Police searched the building but found no suspects.

Newport Beach police found a car at an Arco gas station at 2100 Bristol St. matching the witness’s description of the Lexus used in the restaurant burglary.

Bakkila said a crowbar was found in the Lexus and that two teenagers inside were arrested. They were not identified.

Bakkila said the teens are suspected of committing two additional burglaries in the 2300 block of Bristol Street.

Bakkila said he didn’t know what was taken during each burglary.
