Share

The Mesa Water District has set up a demonstration garden to spotlight water-efficient landscaping and irrigation systems for patrons of the Orange County Fair during the district’s “Water-Wise Wednesdays” series.

The garden, in the Centennial Farm area at the OC Fair & Event Center in Costa Mesa, features drought-tolerant plants, a drip irrigation system and other features showing residents how they can reduce their outdoor water use.

Guided tours of the garden will be available from noon to 5 p.m. Wednesday and Aug. 10. Tours are free with paid admission to the fair.
