Have you seen this man? Police seek suspect in burglary of Huntington Beach motel room

Huntington Beach police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a man suspected of burglarizing a room at the Beach Inn Motel early this month.

Police said a man removed a window screen and pried open the window to get inside a room at the motel at 18112 Beach Blvd. The man apparently entered the room between 12:55 and 1:25 p.m. Jan. 6, used the restroom and took some items before fleeing.

Motel security cameras captured footage of the man, who was described as Caucasian, 30 to 35 years old, 5-foot-11 to 6 feet tall with short brown hair and a goatee that wasn’t fully grown. He was wearing a white long-sleeved shirt, black pants, red shoes and a blue backpack.
