Three Huntington Beach businesses in the same area were broken into between Monday and Wednesday, police said.

Surf City Tacos at 815 Indianapolis Ave. was burglarized early Monday, Taqueria Minimex at 204 Adams Ave. was hit Tuesday or Wednesday and Sail in Liquor at 230 Adams was broken into Wednesday morning, police said.

At each business, the front door was smashed and the cash register broken into or taken.

Surveillance video from Sail in Liquor shows two men and one woman stealing the register, lottery tickets and cigarettes before running away, police said in a Facebook post. Detectives are trying to obtain video from the other businesses, according to the post.

Police advised business owners not to leave cash in the register overnight or leave the drawer open. They also recommended having alarms, metal security bars or gates behind glass doors, and security cameras and making sure they work.

Anyone with information about the burglaries is asked to call the Huntington Beach Police Department at (714) 960-8811 or Orange County Crime Stoppers at (855) TIP-OCCS (847-6227).
