Fight Club OC returns

Fight Club OC will have four pro boxing fights and three pro mixed martial arts fights at the OC Fair & Event Center in Costa Mesa on Oct. 4 at 7:30 p.m.

The headline boxing bout inside the Hangar features Colorado’s Robert Rodriguez (7-1, four knockouts) against San Bernardino’s Jose Sandoval (6-10-1, three KO’s) in a six-round lightweight fight.

Other matchups include San Diego’s David Barragan (2-0) against Carl Hill (0-1) of Compton in a four-round middleweight bout, and Santa Ana’s Gloseron Ortizo makes his light welterweight debut against San Bernardino’s Luis Hernandez (1-0).

The opening fight has featherweights Joet Gonzalez (1-0) of Los Angeles and Brice Yeniki (0-7) of Las Vegas.

In MMA action, Josh Smith (8-6) meets Ernest Chavez (4-0).

Irvine’s Rob Emerson (13-10) fights Long Beach’s Musa Tolliver (7-1).

Luc Bondole, who trains out of HB Ultimate Training Center, looks for his first win. He fights Pasadena’s Wolfgang Steinbeck, who is making his debut.
