AREA 1

Grandview Street: An abandoned vehicle was reported in the 200 block at 12:31 p.m. Friday. The caller said an old red BMW was parked at the same place for several days.

High Drive: Threats were reported in the 400 block at 7:40 p.m. Saturday. The caller said they received verbal and text message threats.

South Coast Highway: A possibly intoxicated person was reported in the 100 block at 5:07 p.m. Tuesday. The caller said a man was sitting on the beach near Lifeguard Headquarters bothering passersby for money. The man’s pants fell off and he also asked if anyone wanted to do drugs with him, the caller reported. The man walked into Hennessey’s and then got into a cab, according to the caller.

Marine drive: Grand theft was reported in the 1000 block at 6:53 a.m. Tuesday. The caller said a black golf bag was stolen. Three people were seen in the area before it was stolen, the caller reported.

North Coast Highway: Petty theft was reported in the 600 block at 3:02 p.m. Tuesday. The caller said her purse was stolen out of her vehicle while parked in the Pavilions lot.

AREA 2

Laguna Canyon Road: Trespassing was reported in the 3200 block at 1:27 p.m. Friday. The caller said a female transient was in front of a building screaming.

Lewellyn Drive: Loud music was reported in the 1300 block at 4:36 p.m. Friday. The caller said it is continually a problem that happens everyday.

Alta Laguna Boulevard: Vandalism was reported in the 3100 block at 10:27 a.m. Tuesday. The caller said there was graffiti on a sidewalk.

AREA 3

Gaviota Drive: Public intoxication was reported in the 1100 block at 6:14 p.m. Friday. The caller said a man was laying in the street in an alley.

Ocean Avenue: A disturbance was reported in the 200 block at 1:30 a.m. Saturday. The caller said a physical fight was happening in the parking lot by Hennessey’s Tavern. No weapons were seen, the caller reported.

South Coast Highway: A physical fight was reported in the 300 block at 2:07 a.m. Saturday. The caller said a bouncer at the White House had detained one person. A Laguna Beach man was arrested.

Legion Street: Petty theft was reported in the 400 block at 5:59 p.m. Tuesday. The caller said a Bible with miscellaneous paperwork inside was stolen outside of a backpack at the Church by the Sea.

AREA 4

South Coast Highway: Vandalism was reported in the 1300 block at 8:05 a.m. Saturday. The caller said two pumpkins were smashed at the Laguna Nursery. The damage was estimated at $360, according to the caller.

South Coast Highway: A disturbance was reported in the 1600 block at 11 a.m. Saturday. The caller said six men were refusing to leave the lobby at the Best Western and pay for damaged they made to the hotel. The caller reported seeing no weapons, but said the men could be intoxicated.

Davis Way: Grand theft was reported in the 700 block at 11:25 a.m. Sunday. The caller said their credit cards, wallet, iPad and backpack were stolen out of their tan Acura. The car was parked in front of the caller’s residence and left unlocked.

South Coast Highway: Disorderly conduct was reported in the 1100 block at 3:18 p.m. Tuesday. The caller said a man was harassing people for money. The man was gone when police arrived.

AREA 5

Nyes Place: Petty theft was reported in the 600 block at 3:11 p.m. Monday. The caller said their GPS, MP3 player and quarters were stolen out of their Chevy truck parked in the driveway. The loss was estimated at $500.
