AREA 1

Broadway Street: Petty theft was reported in the 300 block at 3:36 p.m. Dec. 7. The caller said a man on a bike stole $8 sunglasses. The man, a Laguna Beach resident, was released at the scene with a citation.

Cliff Drive: Petty theft was reported in the 300 block at 7:10 p.m. on Saturday. The caller said a backpack containing car and house keys and other miscellaneous items was stolen.

Broadway Street: Suspicious circumstances were reported in the 300 block at 11:37 a.m. on Monday. The caller said a man in his late 50s riding a bike was following her. The caller reported the man had previously threatened her.

Dartmoor Street: Petty theft was reported in the 400 block at 3:17 p.m. on Monday. The caller said her purse was stolen out of her car, which was parked in the garage. A $2,000 gift card, six credit cards and $620 in cash were stolen. The car’s window was down, according to the log.

AREA 2

Laguna Canyon Road: A person was reported drunk in public in the 1700 block at 12:28 p.m. on Friday. The caller said two people, one with a guitar, were walking around Ganahl Lumber. Police arrested a 33-year-old Colorado resident.

La Costa Court: A disturbance was reported at 4:37 p.m. on Saturday. The caller said there was loud music from drums.

Laguna Canyon Road: A vehicle burglary was reported in the 20200 block at 3:23 p.m. on Sunday. The caller said a gray Toyota Tundra in the parking lot of the Laguna Coast Wilderness Park was broken into. The caller reported the window was smashed and a purse was missing. The credit cards in the purse were already being used, according to the log.

Arroyo Chico: A burglary was reported in the 400 block at 10:43 a.m. on Friday.

Bernard Court: A disturbance was reported in the 2800 block at 10:03 p.m. on Friday. The caller said five men were fighting in the street. It was unknown if they had weapons.

Forest Avenue: Verbal threats were reported in the 500 block at 11:25 a.m. on Saturday. The caller said someone left a threatening voicemail on their cell phone.

South Coast Highway: A disturbance was reported in the 200 block at 7:01 p.m. on Saturday. The caller said a man was outside BJ’s Restaurant playing the guitar for money and yelling profanities.

Park Avenue: Vandalism was reported in the 600 block at 9:32 p.m. on Saturday. The caller said BB pellets were shot at the passenger side window and door of a black Mercedes.

Saint Anns Drive: A loud party was reported in the 200 block at 10:37 p.m. on Saturday. The caller said it sounded like a rave.

Glenneyre Street: Petty theft was reported in the 800 block at 7:50 a.m. on Monday. The caller reported $13 worth of items were stolen from Circle K.

Glenneyre Street: A burglary was reported in the 800 block at 9:22 a.m. on Monday. The caller said their front door was pried open during the night. Police found the door open over the night and closed it, according to the police log.

South Coast Highway: Verbal threats were reported in the 2100 block at 4:35 p.m. on Friday. The caller said a neighbor pounded on the door and threatened her. The neighbor is accused of saying, “You better watch it,” according to the police log.

AREA 5

Coast Highway: Petty theft was reported in the 30900 block at 10:45 a.m. on Tuesday. The caller said there was a video of the suspect. The loss was estimated at $343.
