Alice Esther Segner<br/>October 11, 1925 - September 13, 2014

Alice Esther Segner died peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on September 13, 2014. She was born in La Junta Colorado to the Reverend Joseph and Alice Stansfield on October 11, 1925, and moved to Southern California as a young girl. As a young woman she worked as the personal secretary to Jack Warner of Warner Brothers Studio. In 1952 she married a dashing young Marine officer, Donald R. Segner. During the years that followed, Alice enjoyed raising her family and traveling worldwide.

She will be greatly missed by her husband Don, daughters Angela (Sean) Stevens, Margo (Michael) Cowan and son Winston Segner. Grandchildren Malcolm (Minka) Stevens, Zoe Stevens, Tyler Olmstead, Alexis Olmstead and great granddaughter Meadow Jean Stevens will miss their dear lovely Grammy.

Funeral Services with be held at St. Matthew’s Anglo Catholic Church at 2300 Ford Road, in Newport Beach, California on September 27, 2014 at 11a.m. Graveside service to follow at Pacific View Memorial Park, 3500 Pacific View Drive, Corona del Mar, followed by a reception at St. Matthew’s. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to World Vision International.
