House fire breaks out in back of house

Firefighters responded on Tuesday to a house fire in North Laguna earlier in the week.

The Laguna Beach Fire Department responded to a call of a structure fire in the 200 block of Fairview Street at 10:06 p.m. Tuesday, according to the Laguna Beach Police Department dispatch log.

The caller reported a fire was spreading to the back of the house from a trash can or old heater.

There were visible flames coming from the structure, according to the log.
