Laguna graduates 99 honors students

Ninety-nine students graduated with honors from Laguna Beach High School on Thursday.

Valedictorian Rory Saunders earned a 4.69 grade point average and will attend Dartmouth College in the fall, while salutatorian Timothy Nguyen finished with a 4.59 GPA and will study at UCLA.

Summa cum laude honorees (students with a 4.0 or greater GPA) are Garrett Burk, Alexander Duong, Jeffrey Spitz, Kayla Baskevitch, Cyanna Atkinson, John Paul Wollam, Daniel West, Shawna Yang, Perry Nielson, Anya Miller, Jamie Duncan, Darby Winson, Nadia Demilly, Jamie Hendrickson, Lauren Kirkbride, Josie Goson, Haleigh Burnett, Preston Rogers, Kyle Haines, Stephanie Tat, Megan Kent, Liliana Vera, Makenna Pitz, Sarina Strickland, Andrew Landsiedel, Anthony Davia, Mia Hays, Nathaniel Colburn, Stephannie Zarate, Caroline Summerour, Bridget Hockaday, Jacqueline McMahon, Barrett Thornton, Taylor Romatoski, Michael Feldman, Jordan Patchell, Karl Von Schimpf, Alexandra Lindsay, Connor McCombs, Nicholas Meier, Sarah Nederlander and Garrett Wong.

Magna cum laude honorees (students with a GPA of 3.75 to 3.99) are Troy Thomas, Nicolas Markman, William Trefethen, Emma Barker, Ashlyn Alter, Alexander Feldman, Cameron dePfyffer, Iris Wang, Hannah Martin, Anna Heitmann, Mariam Berri, Jane Wallin, Max Brown, Alec Wulff, Marisa Slater, Hunter Henderson, Zachary Kluver, Yujin Flores, Elizabeth Miller, Amanda Dial, Kira Thornton, Kevin Sasaki, Greta Chiocchetti and Vincent Ladislao.

Cum laude honorees (students with a 3.5 to 3.74 GPA) are Nicole Hunt, Noah Pattillo, Paige Greenwood, Allison Abney, Traer Freeman, Richard Nunis, Anika Larsen, Sharlene Zarrabi, Grant Wilhelm, Jack Wyett, Taylor Davidson, Codey Ibelle, Danielle Gromet, Tatum Moore, Cameron Rand Luby, Danielle Tomczak, Nina Bo, Brielle Budroe, Lola Cant, Charlotte Stiles, Michael Santana, Tessa Hopper, Brooke Michaels, Katie Wold, Brandon Sarhad, Paul Michel Donahie, Ava Allan, Colin Gauthier, Gabrielle Lange, Marielle Scharf and Madeline Woods.

In all, 256 Laguna Beach High seniors graduated this year.
