A 16-year-old Tustin girl was injured when the car she was riding in rolled over on Park Avenue near Hidden Valley Canyon Road on Friday night, Laguna Beach police said.

Laguna Beach firefighters and police found all three occupants outside of a silver Scion XB, which had rolled onto its passenger side, at 9:37 p.m., Sgt. Louise Callus wrote in an email.

The girl suffered a cut on her right arm and a puncture wound on an index finger, Callus said. She was hospitalized at Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo.

The driver, 21-year-old Tustin resident Kevin Ortega Mendoza, was arrested on suspicion of felony driving under the influence, Callus said. He was not injured, Callus added.

The Scion, which had Arizona license plates, was the only car involved. A third passenger, a 17-year-old girl from Tustin, was not injured, according to police.
