Briefs: Final high school boys’ volleyball camp starts Monday

The final Laguna Beach High Volleyball Summer Camp starts Monday at Dugger Gym.

The camp, designed for incoming freshmen through 12th-grade players, runs between 4 to 7 p.m. daily through Thursday.

The camp is designed to help incoming players, with no or limited experience or have not played on a previous boys’ volleyball team at Laguna Beach, to become more familiar with game skills and rules.

Returning players will continue to develop their skills and participate in game play.

The camp will be instructed by Coach Scott Panaro, members of the Laguna Beach High boys’ volleyball coaching staff, and current collegiate players.

Junior Breakers volleyball camp to open

Junior Breakers Summer Volleyball Camp, a grass-root youth organization focused on teaching young athletes the basic fundamentals and strategies of volleyball using the techniques and philosophies taught at Laguna Beach High, starts its final summer session Monday.

Participants will receive instruction from Coach Scott Panaro and additional Laguna Beach High volleyball staff members and current players.

The camp runs through Thursday.
