Yard House Fundraiser

The seventh annual Tip-a-Chip event raises money for the Special Olympics from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Yard House, 849 Newport Center Drive, Newport Beach. California Highway Patrol officers serve as hosts for this event.

Waterman Lecture Series

Newport Harbor Nautical Museum's Waterman Lecture Series presents Chris Welsh at 7 p.m. at the Balboa Pavilion's Grand Ballroom.
