Computer Friends of Oasis

The Oasis Senior Center's Computer Friends, a club that helps seniors learn computer basics, meets at 1 p.m. the second Wednesday of each month at the Newport Beach Public Library, 1000 Avocado Ave. The fee is $2. For more information, call (949) 646-9169.

Artist Workshops

Pierside Gallery, 327 Marine Ave., Newport Beach, offers Artist Workshops for adults and young students on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. The two-hour sessions are taught by Disney artist Margie Tabor Zuliani and are $45 each. For more information, call (949) 675-5225.

Free Tour Of OCPAC

The Orange County Performing Arts Center's docents will lead free public tours of the center's concert halls, including Segerstrom Hall, the Renée and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall and Samueli Theater. Chamber Lunch

A group of Costa Mesa Chamber members meets from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. the first and third Wednesday of each month at the Costa Mesa Country Club, 1701 Golf Course Drive, to exchange leads. Emotional Control Meeting

Recovery International, which provides tools and practice in changing thinking habits to gain personal control over distressing emotions like anxiety, depression and anger, holds weekly meetings at 7:30 p.m. Wednesdays at St. Joachim Church Annex, 1943 Orange Ave., Classroom C, Costa Mesa. Young Frankenstein

The Vanguard University Department of Theatre Arts presents a musical rendition of Lewis Caroll's classic storybook characters from "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" and "Through the Looking Glass." Resource Showcase

The O.C. Substance Abuse Prevention Network is hosting its 21st annual Showcase of Community Resources from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Costa Mesa Community Center. Karen Casey
