RIVERSIDE — Karlee Riggs had 12 kills to lead the Pirates to a 25-20, 25-20, 25-14 Orange Empire Conference win Wednesday.

Morgan Link had 10 kills and Allison Lumsden recorded 30 assists for OCC (7-1, 2-0 in conference).

Andi Frisina and Dana Nicholson had 12 digs each for the Pirates.

Riverside is 7-5, 0-2.

OCC will play at Irvine Valley Friday at 6 p.m.

Concordia 2, Vanguard 1

IRVINE — Kevin Cornwall scored for the Lions in the Golden State Athletic Conference game Wednesday at Concordia.

Cornwall’s goal was assisted by Luis Valdivia for No. 19 Vanguard (7-4, 1-1 in conference). Goalie Cody Adams made eight saves.

David Garcia scored the game-winning goal on an 83rd-minute header for No. 11 Concordia (8-1, 2-0).
