Carol Ann Bovaird

March 15, 1935 – August 9, 2011

Carol Bovaird died at home in Newport Beach on August 9, 2011 after a long struggle with cancer.
She was born on March 15, 1935 to Charles J. and Emily A. Dorsa.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, John H. (Jack) Bovaird, her
children Mark (Christie), Keith (Liliana), Neal (Angelica), Beth Golding (Kurt) all
of Southern California, and Scott (Bonnie) of Bolingbrook, IL., 10 grandchildren,
Adam, Megan, Karianna, Kassidy, Kendell, Ivonne, Kaia, Campbell, Spencer and Joe and two great-grandchildren, Braden and Gabriel.
She also leaves behind a brother, Charles W. Dorsa of Tavares, FL.
Growing up in Flushing, NY she was a graduate of St. Mary’s High School in
Manhasset, NY and Catherine Gibbs Secretarial School in New York City.
In years past she was an avid bowler winning many trophies as she participated in various
tournaments around the country.
She was employed by the Railway Express Agency, 7-Eleven Division Headquarters in Florida, and the Newport-Mesa School District.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00am on Tuesday August 16 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church at 1015 Baker St., Costa Mesa, CA 92626.
