OC Vision 14U boys' basketball team wins AAU District championship

The OC Vision boys' basketball team put on a spectacular scoring performance at The Map Sports Facility in Garden Grove, where the 14U team continued its magical season with a championship.

The quick and virtually unstoppable backcourt of Jarod Lucas, Shan Dharod, Christian Swing, Ethan Anderson and Jared Reyes combined with the inside dominance of Jake Kyman, Matthew Bradley and Danon Whitehead led Vision's defense to close out the victory over Inland Force on May 10.

The coaching staff of Jerome "Pooh" Richardson and Daniel Lim led OC Vision against Inland Force's pressure defense after defeating Impact Basketball and NJB Elite before heading into the title game.

OC Vision's pressure defense and hot shooting did bother their competition at times and helped create a surge that got the 14U boys' team to push the lead back before closing out the win.

OCV also won the championship in the High School Division the prior weekend at the Focus Basketball Tournament.

OC Vision's remarkable season continues in the New Orleans Super 60 this weekend.
