Kalan Reed, known as Mr. Irrelevant XLI, has been promoted from the practice squad to the Tennessee Titans’ 53-man roster.

The Titans released veteran cornerback Perrish Cox to elevate Reed, a cornerback, who was selected No. 253rd overall, the dead-last pick in the NFL Draft.

Reed agreed to terms with the Titans on Monday.

The Titans are on the bye this week and will play host to the Denver Broncos Dec. 11.

In four seasons at Southern Mississippi (2012-15), Reed played in 48 games with 39 starts. Reed registered 152 career tackles, eight interceptions (three returned for touchdowns), 35 passes defensed and 8.5 tackles for loss.
