Burroughs High School to present ‘Chicago: High School Edition’

John Burroughs High School will present the musical “Chicago: High School Edition,” featuring such well-known songs as “All That Jazz” and “Cell Block Tango,” this weekend.

In addition to the upcoming show, the school’s drama department recently won top honors at the California Educational Theatre Assn. festival for the third straight year.

Performances of “Chicago” will be at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. on Sunday in the auditorium at the school, located at 1920 W. Clark Ave., Burbank.

Tickets are $10 for students, $25 for adults and $15 for senior citizens.
