BurbankBus to reduce service hours and offer free rides during crisis

Starting Monday, April 13, BurbankBus will reduce service hours and offer fare-free rides in response to the coronavirus pandemic.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, BurbankBus will offer fare-free rides and implement the following service reductions for routes beginning Monday until further notice, according to city officials:

• Green Route will offer service every 30 minutes from 6 to 9 a.m. and 3 to 6:30 p.m.

• Orange Route will offer service every 30 minutes from 6 a.m. to 8:37 p.m.

• Pink Route will operate on a regular schedule, but hours will be shortened from 6:30 a.m. to 8:38 p.m.

BurbankBus operates Monday through Friday. Riders are asked to enter and exit from the rear doors only.

City officials reminded riders to travel for essential needs only and practice social distancing while boarding, riding and exiting buses.
