Burbank Recycle Center to celebrate America Recycles Day

The Burbank Recycle Center will celebrate America Recycles Day with an event that’s open to the public on Sunday.

There will be food trucks offering a “zero-waste lunch,” as well as a movie, a talk on the future of recycling, craft activities and games at the event, which is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Residents can sign up for a tour of the recycle center, located at 500 S. Flower St., or to attend a free composting workshop. The workshop will run from 1:45 to 3:15 p.m., and Burbank residents will be able to pick up a free compost bin.
