Hospitality Night

The Laguna Beach Chamber of Commerce hosts Hospitality Night from 5 to 9 p.m. A bell choir and community sing-a-long kicks off the event. Attendees can also browse a craft bazaar and open house at the Laguna Beach Presbyterian Church, 415 Forest Ave. Santa arrives at 6 p.m. at City Hall, 505 Forest Ave., to light the pepper tree. Finish off the evening with a screening of “It’s a Wonderful Life” at 9:15 p.m. at South Coast Theatre, 162 S. Coast Hwy.

First Friday Wine Party

Laguna Canyon Winery hosts the First Friday of the Month Wine Party from 6 to 9 p.m. at 2133 Laguna Canyon Road. Tickets are $40 plus tax for nonmembers; $30 for members. Nativity Displays

Nativity scene displays will be open to the public from 2 to 6 p.m. Friday and noon to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 685 Park Ave. Refreshments will be served.

Tree Lighting at Crystal Cove

The public is invited to the 15th annual tree-lighting ceremony at Crystal Cove. The event includes a holiday bazaar, a visit from Santa Claus and hot beverages from the Beachcomber Café.

Holiday Wine Tasting

The Glennwood House of Laguna is hosting a holiday wine tasting fundraiser from 4 to 7 p.m. at the house, 2130 S. Coast Hwy. Cost is $25 at the door. The Organic Cellar will provide the wine and will donate 15% of its proceeds to Glennwood House.

Holiday Food Gift Workshop

SEEDS offers a class to teach attendees recipes for large-group gift giving from 3 to 7 p.m. at Anneiese Schools’ Willowbrook Campus, 20062 Laguna Canyon Road. The cost is $65 or $52 for Friends of SEEDS. Learn to make a jelly trio, spice packs, hot sauce and cocktail items.

Holiday Spectacular

Holiday Hoedown

A benefit for Laguna Outreach for Community Arts (LOCA) will be from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Sandpiper Lounge, 1183 S. Coast Hwy. The event is for 21-and-older guests only. Wilderness Awareness

Children can attend a Wilderness Awareness Field Trip from 10 a.m. to noon at Laguna Coast Wilderness Park. They will learn to find and identify animal tracks and other signs of wild animal life. A $10 donation is appreciated. For ages 4 to 6.

Wreath Auction

Shanti Orange County holds its annual wreath auction from 6 to 9 p.m. at Mozambique Restaurant, 1740 S. Coast Hwy. Admission is free. ‘A Holiday Memory’

‘Forks Over Knives’

Transition Laguna Beach will screen the film “Forks Over Knives” at 7:30 p.m. at Bridge Hall at Neighborhood Congregational Church, 240 St. Ann’s Drive. The movie is part of a series that will be shown on the second Thursday of each month. Family Party

No Square Theatre will sponsor a party for families in need at 2 p.m. at Legion Hall, 384 Legion St. Santa Claus will entertain the kids while parents get to “shop” for items. Donated goods like clothing and toys will be accepted from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 10 and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dec. 11.
