Pet of The Week

Sergi, a 2-year-old Chihuahua mix, has earned the reputation as a charming little gentleman.

Just under 15 pounds, healthy and neutered, he is larger than one might expect for this breed. More than his stature, Sergi’s heart is big enough to love everyone, human and canine alike.

He rarely barks, walks smartly on leash, and appears housetrained. Sergi was found in Costa Mesa by a family who tried unsuccessfully for weeks to locate his owner and then brought him to the shelter in February.

He has been a “star” (as his jacket suggests) and well-behaved in every respect. Sergi seems quite flexible; he always seems to be happy, whether walking, running, cuddling or resting quietly in his kennel.

Sergi’s adoption fees are discounted by 25% when you mention this announcement. Come to the Orange County Humane Society, 21632 Newland St., Huntington Beach. For more information, call (714) 536-8480 or visit https://www.ochumansociety.com.
