Pet of The Week

Share

Some Newport Beach residents were surprised to see a 4-week-old kitten bounce from beneath the tarp of a moving flatbed truck.

All wondered if there were more kittens aboard, but they are thankful that Max, the tabby kitten, was rescued.

As the rescuers sought help, Max got painfully hungry. It took the family a few hours to find help with Community Animal Network, which provided an immediate warm bottle at weigh-in.
