Art-A-Fair holds Jury Day

Art-A-Fair’s 2013 Jury Day will be held Sunday at the Boys and Girls Club of Laguna Beach at 1085 Laguna Canyon Road.

Artists are invited to bring in artwork, including paintings, sculptures, digital art and jewelry, between 8 and 11 a.m. to be juried by professional artists in preparation for the art show’s 47th annual season from June 28 to Sept. 1.

Three original works of art are required for each medium. Participants will be notified of acceptance or non-acceptance at pick-up on the same day, between 4 and 4:30 p.m.

Romantic chamber music concert

Laguna Beach Live! presents singer Christina Linhardt and pianist Joshua Chandra in a chamber music concert at the Laguna Art Museum at 7 p.m. Thursday. This Valentine’s Day-themed event showcases romantic music from classical to cabaret style.

Live! at the Museum, a collaboration of Laguna Beach Live! and the Laguna Art Museum, is organized the second Thursday of each month between 7 and 8 p.m. Admission is free to museum members and to non-members with museum admission.
