Drive and dine: The Habit, an Irvine-based burger chain, will open its first drive-through location next week at 2200 Barranca Parkway, Irvine, in a former Burger King location in front of the Jo-Ann Fabric superstore. All proceeds raised Sunday and Monday, the restaurant's first two preview days, will benefit charity: Sales from lunch (11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Sunday) will benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Assn.'s greater Orange County chapter; dinner (5 to 7 p.m.) will go toward Share Our Strength/No Kid Hungry; and sales at lunch on Monday will benefit the Assistance League of Irvine.
