Sign-ups time is now for boys and girls track meet

Laguna Beach will hold its annual boys and girls track meet at Laguna Beach High School on March 20, according to a news release.

All children born in orafter 2000 and who reside or attend school within the Laguna Beach Unified School District boundaries are eligible to participate in the event, which runs from 5 to 8 p.m.

Children may enter a maximum of three events. The top four finishers in each age division and event are eligible to compete at the Orange County Track Meet in early May.

Entry forms are available at the Community Services Department, 515 Forest Ave.; at the Community and Susi Q Senior Center, 380 Third St.; and at https://www.lagunabeachcity.net. Click on the “Recreation Activities” icon.

The cost to enter a child is $17, payable to the Community Services Department by March 19, or $22 the day of the event.

Laguna Beach High School is at 625 Park Ave.
