Grant program seeks worthy nonprofits

Nonprofit organizations have until 5 p.m. Friday to turn in applications for the city’s 2015-16 Community Assistance Grant Program, according to a news release.

Each year, the City Council awards grants to assist local nonprofits in funding new projects or expanding services within the community.

Applications must be returned to the Community Services Department at 515 Forest Ave. by mail or in person.
