Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a man suspected of stealing mail and packages on four occasions from a Huntington Beach apartment complex.

Huntington Beach police said the man used a wire to open the door to the community mail room at The Residences at Bella Terra, 7521 Edinger Ave., on Jan. 1, 11 and 25 and Feb. 2. Once inside, he used a key or tool to open residents’ mailboxes.

He made off with mail he wanted and discarded the rest. He also used parcel keys that had been locked in the mailboxes to open the parcel locker and steal packages, police said.
