Breakdown: First place in the Pac 4 League is on the line when Laguna Beach (5-3, 1-0 in league) hosts Western (7-1, 1-0) … Laguna Beach lost to Western in a 47-35 shootout in the league opener last year, but it still split the inaugural league title three ways after Ocean View upset Western 45-7 in the league finale … The Breakers are looking to win back-to-back games for the third time this year. Laguna Beach has scored at least 42 points in each of its wins, and it has not scored more than 14 points in any of its losses … The Pioneers have been stingy in the red zone, having recorded six shutouts during their seven-game winning streak. Western is ranked No. 7 in the CIF Southern Section Division 10 poll.
