High School Roundup: Corona del Mar girls’ soccer stays undefeated with win over Marina

Senior forward Nikki Senske scored a first-half penalty kick as the Corona del Mar High girls’ soccer team beat Marina 1-0 on Saturday in a Sunset Conference crossover match at Bonita Creek Park.

Senske drew the penalty kick after a pass from Maddie Rosen, helping keep CdM (10-0) undefeated. Sydney Walls made four saves.

CdM plays at Laguna Beach on Tuesday at 6 p.m.

Goalkeeper Carly Miles made 10 saves for Marina (3-6-1), which hosts Los Alamitos on Tuesday at 3 p.m.
