NEWPORT BEACH — Senior guard Zach Wade had 21 points, five rebounds and five assists for the Sailors in the Sunset League game Tuesday night at Newport Harbor High.

Robbie Rettig, Nic Sargeant and Kevin Rakestraw had nine points each for Newport Harbor (12-13, 3-6 in league).

The Sailors close out their regular-season schedule Thursday night at Los Alamitos.

COSTA MESA — Matt Jarmacz had 19 points and five rebounds for the Eagles in the Orange Coast League game Tuesday.

Chad Fackler had 10 points, four rebounds and three assists, Ben Beck and Martin Harry scored eight points each and Josh Mendoza added seven points for Estancia (3-6 in league).

GIRLS’ SOCCER

Corona del Mar 6, Woodbridge 2

IRVINE — The Sea Kings clinched a CIF Southern Section Division 1 playoff berth with their Pacific Coast League win Tuesday at Woodbridge High.

Karsten Sigband had a hat trick for CdM (13-3-4, 5-1-2 in league), with all her goals coming off corner kicks. Annie Alvarado, Caroline Bethel and Zoe Condon added goals for the Sea Kings, ranked No. 6 in Division 1, and Kendall Mulvaney made six saves.

Shelby Brown and Monica Venturini had assists for CdM, which is one point behind Northwood (6-2-1 in league). But the Sea Kings can clinch the outright title by winning their final two matches.

CdM plays host to Beckman at 5 p.m. Thursday at Jim Scott Stadium, and plays University at 3:15 p.m. Friday at Las Lomas Park in Irvine.

HUNTINGTON BEACH — Sophomores Gema Sanchez and Natalie Ward each scored for the Sailors in Tuesday’s Sunset League match at Marina High.

Newport Harbor improved to 4-14-4, 2-5-2 in league.

IRVINE — Natalia Bruening had 13 points, 12 rebounds and four blocks for the Sea Kings in the Pacific Coast League game Tuesday.

Maria King had seven points for CdM (9-16, 1-8 in league), which plays at Woodbridge Thursday.
