IRVINE — Freshman Cami Privett scored in the 72nd minute of the Big West Conference game Sunday at UC Irvine.

Zuri Walker and Devon Delarosa were credited with assists to help the Anteaters improve to 9-3-2, 2-1-1 in conference.

Freshman Jennifer Randazzo had one save to record the shutout, her fourth of the season.

UCI, which has won two straight and is tied for second place in the Big West with Cal State Northridge (seven points each, two points behind first-place Long Beach State), posted a 16-6 advantage in shots.

The ‘Eaters visit Cal State Fullerton on Friday at 7 p.m., before playing Long Beach State on Sunday at home at 6 p.m.

LAS CRUCES, N.M. — UC Irvine senior Lalita Patipaksiri shot 73 on Monday and is tied for 16th as the Anteaters are in 10th after 18 holes of the three-day event at the New Mexico State Golf Course.

Freshman Michelle Yang (tied for 22nd at 74), sophomore Ronnie Valerio (tied for 46th at 77), freshman Sarah Baek (tied for 56th at 78) and sophomore Taryn Yee (tied for 64th at 79), also competed for UCI, which is 15 shots behind leader Long Beach State.

IRVINE — The No. 3-ranked Bruins handled the No. 7-ranked Anteaters in the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation contest on Sunday at UC Irvine.

Mitch Wise had two goals to lead the Anteaters (12-7, 0-2 in conference).

UCLA, which had 10 players score, is 11-3, 1-1.
