Teanna Herrera (45), Tehya Corona (46), Madison Fernandez (47) and Hannah Knapp (49) also scored for the Sailors (11-5, 6-4 in league), who finished third in league.

Newport Harbor has qualified for the CIF Southern Section Southern Division Team playoffs, Oct. 30 on the Mesa Linda course at Costa Mesa Country Club.

Corona del Mar 225, Northwood 236

Alyaa Abdulghany shot over-par 36 to earn medalist honors for the Sea Kings in the Pacific Coast League match at Newport Beach Country Club Thursday.

CdM finished in a three-way tie for third in the PCL with Woodbridge and Northwood. The teams will compete in a playoff for third to qualify for the postseason at league finals Wednesday on the Mesa Linda course at Costa Mesa Country Club. That’s the same site for the CIF Southern Section Southern Division Team playoffs.

Gabby Finear (40), Lauren Nakamura (46), Sophie Song (51) and Sarah Reynoso (52) also scored for the Sea Kings (4-6 in league) on Thursday.

FOUNTAIN VALLEY — Jaclyn Brown recorded 11 kils to lead the Sailors to a 25-12, 25-18, 25-22 Sunset League win Thursday.

Ellie Hagadorn amassed 19 assists and Sammie Yeager finished with 20 digs for Newport Harbor (11-7, 4-1 in league).
