FOUNTAIN VALLEY — Evan Pettingil scored 16 points, with five three-pointers in the second half, for the Eagles in the first round of the Los Amigos tournament on Monday.

Kaena McReynolds scored nine points on three three-pointers for Estancia (1-0), which plays against Whitney on Wednesday.

Estancia 63, Sage Hill 48

CYPRESS — Eliza Jason scored 23 points to lead the Eagles to open the Oxford Academy Tournament on Monday.

Finley Garnett scored 13 points and Gianna Guyot added 11 points for Estancia, which plays against St. Joseph’s on Wednesday at 3 p.m.

Elizabeth Alvarez led Sage Hill with 20 points, while Bailey Super and Kate Knollenberg scored six points each for the Lightning.

Corona del Mar 64, Dana Hills 21

Junior Natalia Bruening had 23 points and eight rebounds as the Sea Kings won their CdM Tip-Off Tournament opener Monday at CdM.

Junior Kelly Tam scored 15 points, senior Alexa Pridemore had eight points and junior Melody Yoo scored eight, including two three-pointers.

CdM (1-0) plays Mission Viejo in a tournament quarterfinal Wednesday at 6 p.m. at CdM.

Westminster 61, Newport Harbor 33

McKenna Izzi scored 14 points for the Sailors in their opener at the CdM Tip-Off Tournament, on Tuesday at Corona del Mar High.

Angelina Alvarez added seven points for Newport Harbor (0-1), and Teresa Hernandez scored five.

Newport Harbor will play Los Amigos in a consolation game Thursday at 3 p.m. at CdM.
