CdM girls’ tennis tops Northwood, stays perfect in league

Annika Bassey, Kristina Evloeva and Roxy MacKenzie all swept in singles, as the Corona del Mar High girls’ tennis team beat host Northwood 16-2 in a Pacific Coast League match on Tuesday.

Danielle Willson and Shaya Northrup swept at No. 1 doubles for CdM (16-0, 7-0 in league), the top-ranked team in CIF Southern Section Division 1.

The Sea Kings play at No. 5 University in a key league match Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. at the Racquet Club of Irvine.
