Breakdown: The Mustangs go on the road to face the Panthers, one of the newest members of the Orange Coast League. Orange and Santa Ana moved into the league this year, and they immediately became favorites to win the league title … The Panthers won the CIF Southern Section Division 13 championship last season, defeating Yermo Silver Valley 30-20 in the final. Orange (5-1, 1-0 in league) enters the week as the fourth-ranked team in Division 9, and it has won five games in a row. Seven players have combined to score 31 rushing touchdowns for the Panthers. Panthers coach Robert Pedroza said Isaac Galvan (shoulder), who has scored seven total touchdowns this season, will be out … Costa Mesa (0-6, 0-1) has lost 12 straight games going back to last season. The Mustangs have been outscored by 124 points in shutout losses to Los Amigos and Santa Ana over their past two games.
