Estancia boys’ water polo edges Godinez in league opener

Alex Epperson and Cobi White both scored three goals as Estancia boys’ water polo beat Godinez 9-8 in an Orange Coast League opener Wednesday at Costa Mesa High.
Chris Bauer had two goals for the Eagles, and Logan Richards scored one. Epperson had seven saves and Jose Casteneda added three.
